Delete a section of recording on DPM

Following are instructions to delete a section from a dictation on the DPM 9600 before downloading from the Digital Hand Unit

Move to the beginning of the section to be deleted.

Move the slider to STOP.

Press the MENU button

Press the + or � button to go to Delete Section.

Select the button under OK.

Press the button under MARK 1. The beginning of the section to be deleted is marked on the screen.

Slide to PLAY.

Go to the end of the section to be deleted.

Move the slider to STOP.

Press the button under MARK 2. The end of the section to be deleted is marked on the screen.

Press the button under DELETE.

Press the button under OK to confirm deletion of the marked section.

Or, press CANCEL to exit without deleting.
